Mary Ann Orate hosts KOB-TV's magazine / lifestyle program, Good Day New Mexico.  This unique, multiplatform program presents the history, culture and businesses of New Mexico Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. and on the show's website at www.GoodDayNM.com.

She began her television news career in Torrance, California in 1995.  She then moved to Medford, Oregon reporting for KTVL-TV before settling in New Mexico seven years ago.  Mary Ann has covered numerous stories across New Mexico and the southwest as weekend news anchor and reporter for KASA Fox 2 News at Nine.

She is also an award winning NM Associate Real Estate Broker.  The National Association of Homebuilders awarded Mary Ann The Million Dollar Circle Gold Award for selling nearly $9 million in home sales in one year.

She is also very active in the Filipino-American community mentoring young professionals.

Mary Ann enjoys the beach, shopping, reading, eating Mom's home cooking and having quiet time with her husband Joe and their little eleven year old dog Mizu.
