A giant clam in ABQ?   
They are native to the Indo-Pacific Ocean, but believe it or not there is a live, giant clam living in Albuquerque at the Albuquerque Aquarium. The 18-inch-long mollusk can live up to 100 years and grow to be four feet wide.

Rebecca Hautman, the curator of Tingley Beach, is conducting a creel survey of people fishing at the popular urban fishing hole. And, she points out, Saturday is National Fishing Day, so no fishing license is required.
